Rent a Bike

Praktischer Radverleih am Züri Hbf. Breite Auswahl an Bikes. Bikes nicht immer optimal gewartet - zB schlechte oder stark lärmende Bremsen sowie fehlende Schmierung von wichtigen beweglichen Teilen.Relativ teuer.

I stay in Zurich for the summer, and this year opted to go without a car. Instead, I rented an e-bike from Rent-a-Bike and it was a great decision. For up to 4-5 miles, and ebike is the fastest way to get around Zurich, faster and cheaper than the tram and certainly faster than a car. And its fantastic for seeing the sights The bikes are new and smooth, and with great suspensions so you can hop curbs and tram tracks with ease. They use very little electricity and have a built in lock and key, so just pull right up to your destination and you are there. They rent two levels, one that has a speed governor at around 18 mph, and another with a license plate that goes twice that. To be honest, the slower bike is just fine. Zurich is very bike friendly. I picked up and dropped off my bike at the very convenient main rail station, but it can be delivered to you. They have great customer service if you have a question.

Rented bike had a defect rear brake which caused an accident, no response at all by customer service. SBB unable to help as 'we only receive the bikes'.Completely unacceptable - any bike offered to customers must be fully vetted and ready!!!I'm an experienced MTB rider since years and wanted to try an e-bike.

Nice and smooth! Anytime back for another rental. The bikes were in good shape.

Shop isn't in season until April, so we travelled across Zurich to find they only had 3 city bikes...not good for a mountain bike day
