Avoid! Unprofessional and disingenuous.Recently moved to Zurich and looking for new psychologist and had terrible experience.Online booking process relatively straight forward, indicated I would be paying privately but no information on cost of a session or if the first session was chargeable.Initial interaction with Lesia via email friendly with a booking date confirmed and a “let’s get to know each other”. Again no mention of cost implications.Arrived for the session and was informed via email that session would be delayed by 10-15 minutes. Office is a Regis building. After waiting in the lobby was met and escorted to the room which is a small single occupancy office space.Session was laboured, admittedly I should have confirmed if Lesia was a native English speaker before the session but assumed “expat” in the title would suffice. Unfortunately this was not the case.Session included only inane basic questions, my answers to which were misunderstood and needed clarifying. Throughout the session Lesia’s body language was standoffish sitting arms folded and seeming uninterested, frequently glancing at the clock. Upon closing the session there was a hard sell for a follow up booking with multiple prompts for availability.Following what was a terrible first session I was then sent an invoice for 250 CHF for what was believed to be an introductory session. Upon questioning this invoice I was told “nothing is free” but a 15 min introductory phone call free of charge was possible (despite never being offered). Apparently this was free.My reply restating the issues was ignored.I received a pushy payment reminder which included pointing out I was not misled about pricing and that failure to pay would incur a late payment fee and if not paid would be referred to debt collection. The email then asked to resolve this amicably!Further questioning of the situation was ignored.Overall a truly unpleasant and frankly unprofessional experience.

Taya has helped me in navigating issues of belonging and identity. Thanks to her I’m now able to make good and healthy choices for myself and the relationships I am in. I’m grateful that I found her when I did and I highly recommend her.

Incredibly unprofessional. Prepare to be treated very poorly, if you work for Taya.
